I have been tying since 1967 and find these to be a great addition to my arsenal of tying tools. They are the most comfortable scissors that I have ever used to keep constantly in my hand and the fine points are just right for the size flies that I tie - size 14-22.Quality Price Value
As a tying instructor, I have already shown them and recommended them to the students in my tying class.

I have been tying since 1967 and these are very comfortable to keep in your hand and the fine points are perfect for the size flies that I tie - nothing larger than 14 and usually 16-22. (Posted on 2/4/12)Quality Price Value - Wonderful Review by Fly Tying Bob

I learned to tie with my scissors in hand. The 6th Finger scissors are great, providing me the same convenience of scissors in hand with a slimmer profile and quality blades. (Posted on 2/3/12)Price Value Quality - Neat tool for most situations. Review by jim

Having tied for some 65 years, I have used several pairs of scissors, settling for a couple that I have had in use for 40 or more years. This addition is novel in use since it can stay "handy" while rummaging through materials for the next recipe item. I tie for personal use, and do some small stuff for fresh water trout, and larger stuff for salt water red fish; some of the s/w stuff requires a more sturdy tool, but that is not a problem. I would recommend it to folks wanting the convenience of having it in place most of the time. (Posted on 2/2/12)Quality Price Value - Good place to start Review by RickMcfly

If you have not learned to keep your scissors in your hand when you are fly tying, these scissors are a great place to start. They are nicely designed and fit well in the hand and are slightly less bulky the standard scissors. Using the scissors does require the use of all the finger in a squeezing motion rather then the thumb and one finger with conventional scissors. To me it is a bit more awkward, but overall they get my vote, especially for those who are new to the game.
