With the popularity of my Ruby River Fiberglass Fly Rod I decided that for this spring I am going to expand my fly rod offerings. I am excited to announce the new GCO "Susquehanna" 9’0" 4 Piece 6wt graphite fly rod. The Susquehanna is fast action fly rod with a matte brown finish making it just as beautiful as it is a dream cast. Do not make the mistake of thinking this is a budget low class rod simply because of the price. Every inch of this rod is focused on craftsmanship and only premium components were used making it comparable to rods that cost 3X as much. The Susquehanna features a CNC machined reel seat accented with a beautiful wood insert, pacific bay titanium coated guides, a beautiful agate stripping guide and AAA-Portugal imported cork handle. Those that know me personally are fully aware of my affinity for fly fishing for smallmouth and this rod is specifically built for handling meaty streamers, large nymphs, etc. I am currently offering the Susquehanna at an introductory price of $129.95.So, if you are in the market for a new 6wt this season consider the Susquehanna, save some money and have a rod you can enjoy casting for many years to come.

Susquehanna 6wt
Received it last week, fished it this week for smallies. Handled 2 smallmouth in 3 pound range, and a 4 lb. largemouth very nicely. It is a very nice looking rod, and the build quality far exceeds the price.

WOW
When I opened the package this rod really stood out as a beauty. It did not look like a lot of inexpensive rods. I had a chance to fish it yesterday and it is lovely. It is a sweet rod! Nice quick tip with a deep progressive load. Casts well short and long. Had the lovely opportunity to test it on a 4lb large mouth and it showed it's strength. There is a very nice ability to transfer the load to the butt so you can fight a nice size fish. Lovely Job Will.

Haven't had a chance to throw this rod yet except in the grass but it seems to perform great.
