Hogan Brown grew up on the banks of the Lower Yuba River in Northern California. Hogan has guided professionally for over seven years. Currently he guides for everything from Salmon and Steelhead to Carp and Largemouth Bass. He is an FFF Certified Casting Instructor and an Idylwilde Fly Co. Contract Fly Tier. Hogan has had articles published in several magazines including North West and South West Fly Fishing and his flies have appeared in magazines such as California Fly Fisherman and Salt Water Fly Fishing.
Chris King is a bright star in fly casting instruction. He is one of only 12 people in the world who holds a Master Certification with a single hand rod and FFF Certification with a two handed rod. Chris has the infectious personality to make fly casting fun and easy. His definitions and explanations of the cast are straight forward and easy to follow. Chris has competed in and won casting competitions across the United States. He has written articles for several magazines including Fish and Fly and continues to demonstrate different casting techniques at the major sport shows across the west. Chris owns Sac River Outfitters in Redding, CA and has been guiding trips professionally for 10 years.
