This versatile double-sided fly box is perfect for the angler who needs to find the fly they want at a moment's notice! It is 100% waterproof and will float if dropped into the water. Each side is protected by its own clear lid so you can easily see your flies without exposing them to the elements. The clear lid also allows you to easily grab the fly you need during that critical moment on the water. This rugged fly box has a sturdy metal hinge pin and measures 4" x 3" x 1.3". This size is ideal for small to medium sized dry flies and nymphs. It is has 10 rows in Micro Slit foam, or 12 rows in the Easy Grip foam option. With each foam type, you simply back your fly into position and it is solidly held in place.

I filled one of these with SS, egg, and smaller nymph patterns (14-16) for steelhead fishing in great lakes tributaries. The clear lids are a big plus, the easy-grip foam works great, and it fits right in a shirt pocket! Think I'll fill another with dries, emergers, and nymphs for spring trout, and yet another with small poppers and subsurface flies for summer bluegills. Good luck finding a fly box like this one for a similar price (after discount) anywhere! (Posted on 12/5/11)

I really like these boxes, especially with the clear lids. Imagine all of the time lost, looking in the old boxes with the solid lids!!! These, you just look, flip it over and if you don't see what you are looking for, then you move on to the next box. Very simple, time saving, awesome boxes. Really glad that I purchased these, and would recommend them to anyone.
