If you are used to buying high dollar C&F Design fly boxes, then stop wasting your money and start buying these. These boxes are for all intensive purposes, identical to the C&F's that I have bought plenty of. The difference is, you can buy several of these for the price of one C&F.........you just don't have the C&F name on the box, but i am not trying to impress anyone with a name. I picked up this box almost a year ago and I am very happy with it. It holds a great deal of flys from tiny midges all the way to my larger streamers securely and safely. I would recommend this box to anyone looking for a box that they can stock and use daily.

Compared to similar fly boxes this one is a super value. I've been using mine for about a month now and have no complaints. Swing-leaf does seems a tad flimsy, but with reasonable care this box should last the average flychucker for years. A real bargain at about $12 (with discounts)! (Posted on 12/5/11)

This box is very well made. The case itself is made from a very light black plastic. By light, I mean that if you drive over it with a car it WILL break, but my intention is to never do that. I love the amount of storage this case allows for. I am primarily using this case for bulky streamers and wooly buggers.

The only really "cheap" thing about this box is that the middle insert is held to the box by some very cheap thin cardboard like material. I am sure this will eventually give out and tear if it ever gets wet. Knowing that, I would still buy this box though. Even if the middle section permanently separates, it is big enough to manage without being attached to the box. (Posted on 11/16/11)
